Im going to give this 3.5 stars. I liked it, I didnt love it but it had me intrigued and it was a walk on the dark side for me. Devan is the 19 yr old "virgin" who has quite an active imagination and writes erotic and dark sexual stories. Conrad is the captor who holds her hostage and brings her dark fantasies to life. After escaping Conrad she ends up in a remote cabin with Vaughn. Vaughn is fighting his own demons (I cant even begin to explain them) and has a pretty active fantasy life as well. Then Conrad shows up, holding them both hostage and the games really begin as they are "forced" to act out some pretty intense sexual scenarios. There is so much sex in this book my head was spinning at times. Lots of sharing, voyeurism, multiple partners and swapping, sex with strangers, some bondage and a questionable rape scene that may make some people very uncomfortable. I felt like I needed a scorecard to keep track of all the sexual activities going on in this book. Vaughn and Dev seem to be falling in love but the guilt over what transpires during their captivity make things difficult for them. I had alot of WTF moments and some questions that just werent answered, the biggest being "what the hell happened to Conrad??" I was hesitant to read this but I will say this is a book thats going to stay with me awhile. Is this a good thing?? Im not really sure!
